Graham first started climbing in 1976. He lived in England until 1984, rock climbing in England and Wales, as well as making several trips to France, Switzerland, Italy and Spain to climb in the Alps and the Pyrenees.
From 1984 to 1988 he lived in Scotland where we was an active winter climber and rock climber. Since 1988 he has been living in Vancouver, Canada and has climbed extensively in the mountain ranges of British Columbia and in the North Cascades, with trips to the Rockies, the Bugaboos and the Yukon in Canada, to Alaska and to many of the climbing areas in the USA (including Yosemite, the Wind River Range, the Tetons, and the Sierras ).
Internationally he has climbed in New Zealand, South Africa, Thailand, Peru, and has made three trips to the Himalaya, to climb in India, Nepal and Pakistan. He leads rock to 5.11, ice to grade 6 and is part of the team attempting the unclimbed peak of Raksha Urai (6593m) in the far west of Nepal in 2001.

Attempted 1st ascent of Raksha Urai (6593m), Far West Nepal - reached expedition high point of 6500m (2001)
Mt Robson (3954m) in the Canadian Rockies (1990), as well as 1st ascents of several peaks in the Coast Mountain and Selkirks ranges of British Columbia (1990-2000)
1st ascents of Khan Sar (5708m) and Sahan Sar (c5500m), in the Hindu Raj, Pakistan (2000)
Naya Kanga (5846mm) and Gangchempo (6387m), in the Langtang Himal, Nepal (1999)
Alpamayo (5947m), Tocllaraju (6,034m) and Chopicalqui (6345m) in Peru (1998)
Bhagirathi II (6500m) in the Gharwal Himalaya, India (1996)
Mt Logan (5959m) and the 1st ascent of the East Peak of Mt McArthur (4308m) in the Yukon, Canada (1994)
Denali (6193m) in Alaska (1993)
Mt Cook (3764m) and Mt Tasman (3498m) in New Zealand (1992)
